The fjord and the Atlantic  at Seydisfjördur are a real paradise for fishermen ; you will be the only one fishing  in that place.By sailing ship you can reach the best fishing grounds within an hour or two.
Fishing in the fjord is free- you don’t need a permit! You will be fishing in a depth of 40 to 100 metres and it is not an exception to catch a fish of 30 kg.
Fish mostly to be caught: cod, haddock and coalfish.Fishing rods can be rented on board.
You can connect deep sea fishing with a sailing tour.
Fish of up to 100 kg  and a length of 1,5 metres may be caught in the depth of about 140 meters.
